Yuccckkk. Perhaps the worst experience ever at an airport. In Bangkok.

First it turned out we hadn’t realised you need visas to get into Australia. Free ordinarily, thankfully only £300 here. 

Then it turned out we had been staying the last 5 days illegally in Thailand. Entry visas only last for 30 days. Government official decided to fine us only, rather than imprison us. Bargain to buy our freedom for £150.

Flight is now delayed.

Still, we aren’t in prison, will get into Australia, got upgraded to WTP, and sitting in a lounge eating stale sandwiches… Life is good
